HackJKLU v5.0 Concludes: Greek Mythology-Themed Hackathon Drives Real-World Innovation

Jaipur, India: JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) successfully wrapped up the fifth edition of its flagship national hackathon, HackJKLU v5.0, reinforcing its growing reputation as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and future-ready technological development.

The Greek mythology-themed event brought together over 400 participants from nearly 40 institutions across the country. Over an intense 48-hour development cycle, teams worked to transform their ideas into fully functional technical prototypes, tackling real-world challenges with creativity and precision.

HackJKLU v5.0 focused on critical and emerging technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Data Science, and FinTech. The hackathon encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to work together under the mentorship of industry experts and academic leaders.

Participants received continuous guidance from mentors throughout the event, helping them refine their concepts and build scalable, practical solutions. Projects were evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry professionals and faculty members, ensuring a strong blend of academic rigor and real-world applicability.

Among the top performers, Team Mirage from LNMIIT secured first place, followed by Team Octane from JKLU as the first runner-up, and Team Neuronest from Arya College as the second runner-up. The winning team received a top पुरस्कार of ₹50,000, while several other teams were recognized for excellence across specialized categories including AI, Blockchain, FinTech, and Cybersecurity.

Congratulating the participants, JKLU Vice-Chancellor Vijaysekhar Chellaboina highlighted the importance of such platforms in nurturing innovation. He noted that the enthusiasm and dedication displayed by students reflect the growing readiness of young minds to leverage technology in addressing both local and global challenges.

Beyond the hackathon, the campus transformed into a vibrant techfest venue, with more than 10 student clubs hosting parallel activities. These included Dance Battle, Open Mic sessions, Jamming Night, Block Printing, Drama Skits, immersive 3D-VR experiences, gaming zones, a Red Bull F1 simulator, Media Maze challenges, CP Code Battles, and even Jupiter observation sessions organized by the Astronomy Club.

The event also featured a series of thought leadership sessions, including a panel discussion on “Reimagining Academia, Industry, and Research in the AI Era.” Expert talks on high-performance computing and career readiness provided valuable insights into navigating the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Adding a practical dimension, attendees participated in a career-focused session led by YouTuber Keerti Purswani, who shared strategies for preparing for job interviews in the AI-driven era.

HackJKLU v5.0 concluded on a celebratory note with a live performance by singer Maan Panu, marking the end of a high-energy event that combined innovation, learning, and entertainment.

By fostering a national exchange of ideas and empowering students to develop impactful solutions, JK Lakshmipat University continues to strengthen its position as a leading institution for innovation, entrepreneurship, and future-focused education in India.
