“Tumi Ke” Sets a Moody, Sensual Tone for Windows Productions Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel

Windows Productions has released the first tango-inspired number from its debut horror-comedy Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel, directed by Aritra Mukherjee, with story by Zinia Sen and screenplay and dialogues by Zinia Sen and Godhuli Sharma. The song, titled “Tumi Ke”, instantly captivates with its sensuous rhythm and atmospheric flair. Composed and written by Anupam Roy and sung by Anupam Roy and Srijita Mitra, the track sets a tone of elegance, mystery, and emotional intensity for the film.

Visually, the song makes a bold statement. The actors slip into striking tango-themed costumes — sleek, form-fitting ensembles in vivid pinks, deep reds, and classic blacks, echoing the dance form’s fiery appeal. The glamorous yet dramatic styling heightens the narrative mood, enhancing the song’s seductive storytelling.

The aesthetic is further elevated by the carefully crafted moodscape. With warm shadows, moody lighting, and a contemporary tonal palette, the visuals evoke the intimacy of a dimly lit tango hall. Every frame blends sensuality with sophistication, giving “Tumi Ke” an unmistakable tango aura infused with modern Bengali sensibilities.

Anupam Roy, the composer and lyricist of the track, shared,
“Creating ‘Tumi Ke’ was an opportunity to explore a soundscape I haven’t played with often. Tango has a natural drama and sensuality, and blending that with a Bengali emotional core was creatively exciting. The song sets a very specific mood for the film, and I’m thrilled with how the visuals and music complement each other.”

Soham Mazumder shared his experience saying,
“Growing up in Bengal, song and dance were always my escape, so doing a full musical felt like a childhood dream come true. Working again with Windows and Aritra felt like returning to family.

Sharing the screen with Mimi—whom I grew up watching—was surreal, and my co-stars Bonny and Swastika were incredibly supportive. I even shot the song with a fever, but we’ve created something special, and I hope the audience can’t resist swaying to it.”

With its captivating music, rich visuals, and assured creative vision, “Tumi Ke” emerges as a compelling first glimpse into Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel. The track sets the tone for Windows Productions’ first horror-comedy with style, sensuality, and confidence — promising an experience as intriguing as it is entertaining.
